Three revenue engines, one ledger

Staff Augmentation

Time and materials, retainers, bench planning

Billable hours to invoice in one flow

Professional Services

Fixed fee, milestones, change orders

Delivery tied to recognition schedules

SaaS Subscriptions

Per seat, usage, annual contracts

Recurring revenue with clean renewals

Platform

Every function of the studio, wired together

CRM, projects, finance, agents, and outbound share one data model. No exports between tools. No shadow spreadsheets.

CRM and pipeline

Track every lead, deal, and account from first touch to closed-won. Duplicate detection, ownership rules, and company-scoped access keep each studio's book clean.

  • Lead and deal stages
  • Duplicate guardrails
  • Account ownership
  • Scoped visibility

Delivery and projects

Projects, tasks, and boards with private projects and per-member access that holds under audit.

Finance and ledger

Invoices, bills, and double-entry accounting with multi-currency support and drillable trails.

AI agents

Scoped agents for research, drafting, and follow-ups that stay inside your tenant data.

Campaigns and inbox

Outbound sequences and a unified inbox with tracked opens, replies, and unsubscribes.

RevOps pipeline

Contract to cash as one lifecycle: schedules, dunning, and recognition on a single timeline.

Studio memory01

Memory

Genesis connects to the systems you already run. CRM, delivery, finance, and docs share one organizational memory that agents can query in milliseconds.

  • Every company, project, and decision logged
  • Vector + graph memory for instant recall
  • No exports between siloed tools
Orkstra02

Orkstra

The orchestration layer routes events to the right agent swarm. Revenue drops, churn signals, and delivery blockers trigger workflows without a meeting.

  • Event-driven routing, not task lists
  • Human-agent pods with clear ownership
  • Scales with compute, not headcount
Agent hierarchy03

Agent swarm

Planner, Executor, and Verifier agents work as a hierarchy. Strategy agents scan markets while delivery agents ship scoped work in sandboxes.

  • Planner breaks goals into sub-tasks
  • Executors run in isolated environments
  • Verifiers audit before anything goes live
Policy gates04

Governance

Set policies once in the Founder Governance Kernel. High-confidence actions run autonomously. Irreversible bets always escalate to you.

  • ≥99% confidence executes automatically
  • Budget envelopes and kill switches
  • Full audit trail for every action
Command center05

Command

A unified workspace where agents and humans collaborate. You govern the system; Orkstra runs the studio. Approval loops improve accuracy over time.

  • War Room visibility across portfolio
  • Feedback loops refine agent behavior
  • One surface for CRM, delivery, and RevOps

AR aging and cash forecast

Aging buckets, DSO trending, and a 30/60/90 day cash-in forecast weighted by how customers actually pay.

Closed-loop dunning

Segmented reminder cascades that stop when payment lands. Disputes pause the sequence. Promises-to-pay snooze it.

Revenue recognition

Ratable, milestone, and point-in-time schedules that release deferred revenue and post back to the ledger.

Security

Built to hold real money

A platform that owns your revenue has to earn trust. Genesis is engineered for the discipline finance and security teams expect.

Access control enforced on the server, not just in the UI.

Encrypted at rest

SMTP and IMAP credentials are sealed with AES-256-GCM. Secrets never travel to the client.

Tenant isolation

Every query is scoped by company. Members see only the projects and books they are added to.

Typed, tested, gated

Strict TypeScript, Zod-validated actions, and CI that runs lint, typecheck, tests, and build on every push.

Audit-ready ledger

Double-entry accounting with version-controlled migrations and drillable trails to the source transaction.

Companions

Stay close to the book when you leave the browser

Desktop tray and Android companions sync tasks, notifications, and meeting capture with your Genesis workspace. Same Clerk sign-in. Installers ship from our CDN, never from a public GitHub page.

Windows & macOS

Tray companion for quick tasks and alerts while you work.

Android

Capture meetings on device, sync summaries back to Genesis.

FAQ

Straight answers

Common questions from studio operators evaluating Genesis.

What is Genesis?

Genesis is the operating system for a venture studio. CRM, delivery, finance, agents, and RevOps share one data model so pipeline, projects, and cash stay in sync.

Who should use it?

Studios and operating teams that bill across staff augmentation, professional services, and SaaS. If you currently reconcile those books in spreadsheets, Genesis is built for you.

How do we get access?

Access is invite-based. Existing members sign in with Google or email. New studios request access and we onboard with a structured import of contacts, projects, and invoices.

Where do companions download from?

Windows, macOS, and Android builds publish to a Genesis-controlled CDN. The Downloads page and /api/releases routes serve those files. Your private GitHub repository is never linked to end users.

Do companions use a different login?

No. Desktop and Android use the same Clerk Google and email sign-in as the web app, against the same Genesis account.

How is tenant data protected?

SMTP and IMAP credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. Every query is company-scoped on the server. The ledger keeps a drillable, double-entry trail.

Can we migrate off spreadsheets?

Yes. Contacts, projects, and invoices import into a structured baseline so RevOps and finance do not start from a blank ledger.
